A conjunction is a word which merely joins together sentences and sometimes words .
Conjunction అనునది ఒక పదం. రెండు వాక్యాలను గానీ, రెండు పదాలను గానీ, రెండు phrases ను గానీ, రెండు clauses ను గానీ కలుపుతుంది.
Examples :
Kohli and Rahane are good players
Ravi and Ramesh are friends
Three and six makes nine
Types of Conjunctions

Co-ordinating Conjunctions :
నమానస్థాయి గల ఉపవాక్యాలను కలుపుతుంది.
And , but , yet , only , for , or , nor ,besides , so ,also , hence , whereas , however , otherwise , therefore , as well as .
Noun + Noun :
Ravi as well as Raju came to my house

She is rich but ugly

Adverb + Adverb :
She sang a song sweetly and loudly

Correlative Conjunctions :
జంటలుగా ఉపయోగింపబడేది
So … that , So … as , As … as , Both …. and , Not only ….but also ,
Neither ….nor , Either ….or , no sooner ...than , hardly ...when , thought ...yet
Examples :
He drank so much that he vomited
She is both kind and compassionate
He is not only foolish but also obstinate
Subordinate Conjunctions :
ఆధార ఉపవాక్యాన్ని ప్రధాన ఉపవాక్యంతో కలిపేది
Subordinate conjunction(A) = subordinate clauses(B) + principal clauses(C)
(“+” => conjunction)
Who , whom , whose, what , when , where , why , how , if , till , until , while , that , than , last since , because , before , after , though , although , even though , whether , whenever , wherever , whoever , as if , as though , so that , as soon as .
Examples :
