Noun is a word of used as to the name of person / place / thing .
మనుష్యుల , వస్తువుల , ప్రదేశాల , నదుల , సముద్రల , నెలల , వారాల మొదలయనవాటి పేర్లను నామవాచకం అంటారు.
There are different kinds of nouns.
Proper Noun : (సంజ్ఞావాచకము)
Proper noun is the name of some particular person or place.
ఏదేని ఒక వ్యక్తి లేదా స్థలము యొక్క పేరు సూచించునది.
Proper nouns have no plural forms. Each proper noun begins with a capital letter.
Examples : Ravi, Mother Teresa, India, Hyderabad, Delhi.
Common Noun : (జాతి వాచకము)
Common noun is the name given in common to every person or thing of the same kind.
ఏదేని వ్యక్తుల, వస్తువుల పేర్లు సాధారణంగా అన్నింటికి వర్తింపచేసినట్లయితే.
All common nouns have their plural forms.
Examples : boy, woman, doctor, teacher, officer, driver, girl, city, poet, mobile, pen.
Material Noun : (ద్రవ్య నామవాచకము)
A material noun is the name of a material of substance out of which things are made.
ఒక వస్తువును తయారు చేయుటకుపయోగించు పదార్ధం పేరు.
Examples : gold, silver, wool, iron, wood, clay, ice, tea, ink, money, butter, water, paper
Collective Noun : (సముదాయ నామవాచకము)
A collective noun is the name of collection of things or persons.
వ్యక్తుల, వాస్తువుల సముదాయము
Examples : crowd, mob, team, block, herd, army, fleet, nation, committee, parliament
Abstract Noun : (గుణవాచకము)
Abstract noun is the name of a quality, action and state.
లక్షణము, చర్య పరిస్థితి యొక్క పేరు తెలియచేయునది.
Quality : kindness, Goodness, honesty, wisdom, Knowledge, bravery, freedom, beauty, …
Action : theft, movement, judgment, justice, …
State : Childhood, boyhood, poverty, death, life, love, …
Abstract noun are generally formed form “Common nouns, adjectives, verbs”.

Countable Nouns :(గుణించగల నామవాచకం)
A countable noun is the name of a thing that can be counted or divided into singular or plural.
లెక్కించుటకు వీలు అయిన నామవాచకం
These nouns are found in two numbers.
1) Singular Number : A noun that denotes one person, place or thing … is called “Singular”.
Examples : mobile, book, table, children, teeth, men, women, writer, studio ….
2) Plural Number : A noun that denotes more than one person, place or things … is called “Plural”.
Examples : mobiles, books, children, teeth, cities, men, women, milk
Uncountable Noun :(గుణించలేని నామవాచకం)
A uncountable noun is the name of a thing that can not be counted or divided into singular or plural.
లెక్కించుటకు వీలుకాని నామవాచకము
Examples : milk, ice, tea, coffee, oxygen, life, truth, beauty, iron, …
